We engage public institutions and the private business sectors at every level in order to create policies and models that support fair and regenerative systems of production, distribution, marketing, consumption, and management of food loss.

Public including policy and decision makers increasingly recognizes and improve and put in place policies and decision-making processes that are equally-led and owned-by women who produce, process and prepare food

Call For Action

01
We are deeply concerned about the quality of food that is currently being distributed in Kenya. We have witnessed the growth of diseases such as cancer, sugar diabetes, congenital heart disease and obesity attributed to GMO. We want to improve our food-systems and the quality of our food. To do so, we are demanding decision-making processes that are equally-led and owned-by women who produce, process and prepare food. We experience too much marginalization and discrimination, with all the consequent-effects on our health and families. We are not willing for our lives to be disrupted by corporate appropriation of our land and natural resources. We will not be forced with capitalist GMOs. We stand our ground and defend our dignity! Furthermore, women produce, process and prepare the majority of available foods, and are thus key with respect to food security in their families and communities. Nevertheless, their contribution to food production is unrecognized and, as a consequence, women benefit less.
